I decided to do this latest presentation because many people that are just starting out on their journey of becoming a Pseudo Killa need tools to do their work (Pseudo Slaying), and resources that sharpen those tools. Many may not know what that is or what that looks like, so I took it upon my self to compile as many things as I could remember and find that would aid anyone in their mission of being a truth and knowledge seeker.

This Video is for everyone… Pseudos’, Pseudo Slayer initiates, and seasoned Pseudo Killas. This is a repository of websites, books, articles, and videos to help you vet and factcheck information, using the right sites to do that, Articles and YouTube video recommendations to improve your critical thinking skills, a lists for places where to get primary sources in science and history, also a plethora of places to get free digital and audiobooks, who for forget the various resources to help you in your every day so you can categorize, organize, and be your most proficient self. Death to The Pseudos’ Series: Confirmation Bias

I decided to do this latest lesson for the Death To the Pseudos’ Series on Confirmation Bias because this is a common internal fallacy that people display when they are in denial and refuse to accept reality. I go over what it is, why people display it, how to reduce confirmation bias, exceptions to using confirmation bias, and how to combat confirmation bias when other are using it against you; I even go over some common concepts that occur in certain situations as well. It is important for all to know that we all display confirmation bias, but we should try our best to recognize it, and reduce it, or eliminate it in conversation or thought processes. I will agree that some people know that they have this level of denial and abuse logical fallacies and other mental concepts to deceive, scam, and lie to people and I thought in this video it was time to expose that, so now everyone is more aware of the tactics so they hopefully will be able to fight back.

Pseudo Slaying Lessons: Vetting Sources by Chani Kinsler aka CK Tha Poet

I decided to do this video because I see a of people like what people like the Pseudo Killas do, and maybe some would like to start their journey to becoming a a Pseudo Slayer and one day a Pseudo Killa. I hope that this will be a start to encouraging people the vet the information they receive and the information they post for other to see. But first what is a Pseudo Killa?

A Pseudo Killa is someone that identifies pseudoscience, conspiracy theories, and misinformation. They are someone that educates the people on these ideologies and help them see it in their everyday life, then provides facts and evidence that correct these flawed reasonings. A Pseudo Killa is someone that will provide sources for our claims that are credible up to date and in context. The Main goal is to identify, vet the information, expose the flaws and misinformation, then provide the factual information… Pseudo Slaying.

It should never be about trying to embarrass the person, ridicule them for being ignorant, lacking knowledge, or one of those people that has been influenced by bad information. I am guilty of doing this in the past, but have tried to be be a little less hostile and just say the person is wrong and why and tell them this source explains why. But of course if after you take the nice approach and the person is still suffering from the Dunning-Kruger Effect , and they are still trying to speak with authority now its time to go for the jugular and its: DEATH TO THE PSEUDOS TIME.

I decided to do this latest lesson for the Death To the Pseudos’ Series on Ad Hominem Attacks because, I knew this was probably one of the hardest logical fallacies to avoid outside of appealing to authority. I noticed when in conversation with some people rather it was on a live stream on YouTube or in a comment section on a Facebook Post or any social media post for that matter… people whom sub-consciously knew that they were wrong and you are right about something would immediately start calling you names to delegitimize your claim, or to make you look as if you are not trust worthy or like someone that should not be taken serious. Sometimes their attacks would actually be true LoL, I will give you an example. I am a African-American Female that enjoys hobbies like playing videos games, watching anime, and reading comic books, I have obtained many degrees in my journey of getting an education, while also working jobs in various fields, these facts about me might not reflex up to date on my social media profiles, but some people that are childish, immature, and are just pathetic cowards will try to use this against me.

Let me explain, some people instead of focusing on the subject we are talking about and countering the claims I made with evidence or answering my question about a claim they made, they will joke about how I work at a retail store, like that is such a bad thing to have a job LoL (of course they don’t know I haven’t worked there in 10 years *sigh* and now have a career making more money because I have graduated since then). Some of these individuals have such ugly personalities that they literally think that just because I play a video game or made some YouTube videos of me playing games that I am incapable of watching documentaries shoot even a science or history YouTube video (which I love by the way), that it is impossible for me to sometimes read a motherflipping book LoL, its almost like these people are in the Twillight Zone where audio books don’t exist and science articles or journals are written in this alien language no one can read let alone comprehend. Now they have to pick on my grammar or spelling, this is social media not a damn research paper (lordy mercy). They aren’t even being sensitive to the possibility that I could have a disability, which I shockingly do grew up with ADHD and also have dyslexia, and trust me if you have dyslexia you know it some days and times its worst than others… If those Ad Hominem attacks aren’t enough then I get the double whammy, first it starts off with the sexist remarks being called a B****H (or other female expletives), being told to go back to the kitchen, being told I’m being too emotional (all humans have and express emotion idiots including the males that pretend they don’t), being told I need a man to have sex with me (like you morons sex has nothing to do with the points I’am trying to get across that you just are incapable of understanding because of your lack comprehension or worst just not listening), and then sometimes I am just completely ignored or excluded. Its even worst if its racist your going up against so now I got to get called the N word, every known pejorative, every dog whistle is used, and the worst racist and sexist jokes that aren’t even funny get get thrown.

Now I ‘am not saying don’t use Ad Hominem attacks, I am willing to throw my self under the bus and say I am guilty of using ad hominem attacks fallaciously and non-fallaciously but hey… if they are racist call them what they are, are they ignorant if the definition fits use it, but make sure you address their claims, bring them daggers out and when you stab them with that boss ass source make sure you twist the blade before you pull it out… No mercy around here for pseudos’, racist, and sexist DEATH TO THE PSEUDOS.

Burden of Proof by Chani Kinsler aka CK Tha Poet

I decided to do Shifting the Burden of Proof as the second lesson in the Death To The Pseudos’ Series, because when you have someone that doesn’t know what they are talking about, or they know they are going up against someone that is more knowledgeable than they are, instead of presenting evidence for their claims they will shift the responsibility to someone else. This was a common theme among anti-vaxxers, conscious community individuals, and many others that push pseudo-science claims, including conspiracy theories. Some people seem to think that just playing a Tik Tok video, clipped together videos on Facebook, YouTube videos, podcasts, or a video of themselves speaking is enough and considered proof. Others will post a collage of images turned into meme’s, screenshots of unverifiable websites, or worse screenshots of verifiable websites that are clipped out of context. Finally there are those that feel confident and beat their chest as they tag you to death with a plethora of articles from conspiracy theory websites, or websites known for and exposed for printing false or misleading information knowingly, and when all else fails after doing all these behaviors I listed above they will shift the burden of proof. In this lesson we are going to dive deep, this is one of the hardest video presentations I have ever done because of the shear amount of information I had to gather, and of course putting it all together and then condensing it and clearing it up making sure it flows right. This video is just as much for the Pseudo as it is for the Pseudo Slayer (or slayer in training lol), we will learn what is considered proof and what can be used as evidence , while also touching on some other key points that go along with meeting the Burden of Proof. In the future I plan to do a video on how to vet a source, and I have been working on a quiz to detect how much pseudo information someone believes look out for that in the future.

This is the first lesson in the Death to The Pseudos’ Series called Appeal to Authority. My main focus will be on appealing to false or illegitimate authorities. I thought this was an important logical fallacy to do first because, it is probably the number one used flawed reasoning people abuse, and it is easy to do if your not careful. Around this time many of us that were reading, learning and researching continually encountered people spreading false information on social media and YouTube in the anti-vaccine community (due to Covid-19, and the mRNA vaccines that were just approved) and in what is called the conscious community (it was suppose to about uplifting people to the knowledge, work, and accomplishments of black people that was unknown before (for an example watch this), what it is mostly today leans toward hyper-diffusionist rhetoric, cults, pseudo-sciences, created religions in America, and questionable behavior that wear the mask of black empowerment but underneath the mask is nothing but entertainment and get rich quick schemes ). These people would constantly make extreme claims without presenting any evidence, if they did present something it was always from someone that wasn’t an expert in that field, or they would be someone that is an academic but has been exposed for spreading of false information and refusing to allow their work to be peer reviewed.
